It’s a pretty simple pick between either having more damage cards or more defense cards with maybe an attack buff. After completing that, you’ll get to pick out from a set of starting cards to bring into your run. It’s nothing too in-depth, but it will at least put some personality in who you’re playing. One of the first things you’ll do is customize what your character looks like. There are some RPG elements to it while also having a deck-building aspect. Those doors contain different monsters to fight where you can collect relics, cards, and gear to choose from to build out from while trying to get to the boss at the end of each level. Not entirely sure why rainbows come out of me after I complete a room though, maybe it’s superpowers or something.ĭoors of Insanity is a Roguelike that takes you through, well, doors. When I progress, there are new attacks and skills to learn that can be picked from, and hopefully, this will be enough to defeat the boss in the end. There’s some cool gear here too, I better make sure I’m prepared for the next one. What’s through this door? Oh, some monsters! Well, I guess I better defeat them so I can get out of this crazy place. Sea Horizon – PC (P)review - April 19, 2023.Sea Horizon – PC Review - April 25, 2023.Gone Rogue – PC Review - April 29, 2023.
